Hi everyone! Umm, where do I start?
I have almost always been drawing in some sort or another and I got interested in doing websites some time in middle school. I'm not sure exactly when I decided I wanted to do 3D work, but I know I signed up for my first 3D class my Junior year of high school. From there I followed up with a second 3D class my Senior year as well as some other computer graphics classes.
I took the slightly easier way out when it came to college. I'm a native of San Antonio, and I wanted to stay within Texas to go to school, so I went and looked at some different colleges. I checked out UNT in Dallas and Texas State Technical College in Waco and was pretty much told that to get into 3D animation that I could either get a degree on the computer side of things and mix my artistic background with it later, or I could get an art degree and mix the computer side into that. A little disappointed, I started looking harder into other schools and the University of the Incarnate Word was brought to my attention. They had a degree in 3D Animation, exactly what I was looking for and the best part was the it was right there in San Antonio. Long story short, I graduated from UIW in May of 2007 with my BA in Computer Graphic Arts with an emphasis in 3D Animation (it's a long degree).
